FRANK DEVOS

Born, raised and based in Brussels, I started working in the Belgian TV & Film industry over 25 years ago.
Since then, I have been directing more than 650 commercials within the Benelux, Europe, Russia, the USA, Canada and Japan.
My most iconic work probably is the ‘Zazoocondomcommercial', a commercial still trending as one of the top-rated movies on Youtube, and one of the first virals ever.   

Over the years I proudly collected over 65 awards and medals at worldwide festivals, including Cannes.

Since 2016 I also started directing TV drama series. I was able to contribute to multiple Belgian and international series, including the Netflix Original UNDERCOVER. 

Meanwhile, I have become an enthusiast street photographer over the years, while traveling for work, and during holiday road trips. I also did the still photography for the TV series Beau Sejour II and the movie FACADES.

While my photographs are the result of my observations of ordinary human behaviour and still lifes, each one of them tells a unique story.

My commercial storytelling often has a comic side to it, while my feature work is much darker.
